also a Saunders Street in Southport, Merseyside.
Sanderstead is in London and Sanderton in
Buckinghamshire. From other people's research the name
itself is said to derive from Sandes, it then became
Sanders before turning into Saunders.

Today
probably the most famous Saunders is the comedian Jennifer
Saunders. There is also many others including Ben
Saunders, the Arctic explorer.

family through the descendants of Alice Saunders born in
the late 1800s, she married Arthur
Bullock of Bishops Frome, England.
They had a son Edwin Bullock born 1915 of Madersfield,
Malvern, England. He married Doris
Watkins born 1918, they had a son Anthony
James Bullock.
